Paintless Dent Removal (PDR) Processes
Paintless Dent Removal (PDR) can be performed by two different methods.
Traditional
PDR Tools
The first is using traditional PDR tools, where the damage is repaired by getting the tools behind or under the dented area and gently massaging or pushing the metal or aluminum back to its original location.
Glue
Pull System
A secondary method involves pulling the dented area from the outside with a glue pull system. Hot glue is adhered to a glue tab that is attached to the dent. Once cooled, a slide hammer is attached to the glue tab that gets pulled or popped to achieve the desired results.
Choices
Which method is right for me?
There are times when one method or the other is the most appropriate, and there are also situations where both are necessary to complete the repair process.
